Tabor City Baptist Church
A CHURCH WITH A CARING HEART

Tabor City Baptist Church is a singing church. From hymns to the current songs of today, we rejoice with songs of praise. Over 600 times does the Bible mention singing and music, evidently God intended us to lift our hearts and voices in praise to Him.

At Tabor City Baptist Church we want to make available to everyone an opportunity to make music unto the Lord. We are beginning a new program for our children called TeamKID. This program is for age 3 through the 6th grade. Music for the children is incorporated into this program. We also have a youth choir.  This choir leads in worship each Sunday night,  shares in the Hanging Of The Green service, presents a Dinner Theater musical and goes on a summer mission trip. It is a great group of which to be a part.

Our Adult Choir is an active and dynamic choir that leads in worship every Sunday morning. We sing a wide variety of music and present between 2-3 musical/worship presentations each year, often with instrumentalists from within our church as well as the surrounding community. We are always looking for men and women who have a heart for God and want to sing His praises. There is also an excellent Adult Handbell Choir that meets simply to exalt God through the use of handbells.

Shout your praise to the LORD, all the earth;

Break out in praise and sing for joy!

Sing your praise to the LORD with the harp,

With the harp and melodious song,

With trumpets and the sound of the horn,

Make a joyful symphony before the LORD the King!
